Dangerous Beauty is a five-reel, 40-line slot that revolves around a female assassin. It was released by High 5 Games in 2011 and continues to be featured in online casinos today.
This game has a dark-and-mysterious theme that’s punctuated by a katana-wielding beauty and lurking jungle cats. It also feels like the TV series Alias or La Femme Nikita because the assassin wears different disguises in three separate symbols.

Theme and visuals overview
Dangerous Beauty features a realistic setting and symbols. The background is a photograph of a small Asian village at nighttime. Lush vegetation, trees, pagoda roofs, a bridge, and a moon can all be seen behind the reels.
The symbols aren’t real photographs like the background, but they still look authentic. The assassin appears as three symbols, each one distinguished by her outfit and disguise. Her multiple looks include dark hair with a red kimono, dark hair with a black kimono, and silver hair with a black dress. Other symbols include a jade dragon figurine, black panther, leopard, Dangerous Beauty logo, A, K, Q, J, and 10.
The theme is ambiguous and leaves part of the story up to interpretation. The woman is clearly an assassin who’s skilled with a sword and disguises. However, some confusion comes in with the leopard and panther. Perhaps the lady can communicate with these beasts or morph into them when needed.
High 5 did an excellent job with the graphics; plenty of detail can be seen in the assassins’ various looks and jungle felines.
The music that plays while the reels spin is generic. However, you can look forward to unique sound effects during wins, including the woman’s sword slashing and the cats growling. Most of the animations during payouts involve sparkles floating around the winning symbols.
Betting options and paying combinations
The betting options differ based on whether you’re playing in free or real-money mode. The 40 linesare fixed infree mode, but you can change the bet per line from $0.02 to $5. These options create a total betting range of $0.80 to $200.
Real-money play allows you to adjust lines from 1-40 and the bet per line from $0.01 to $3. These settings make for a betting range of $0.01 to $120.
Unfortunately, Dangerous Beauty is lacking in other options. You can turn the sound on and off, but other helpful features, such as autoplay and quick spin, aren’t available.
The return to player (RTP) is 96%, which is high compared to other slots. The volatility is lower than average, and we experienced many wins during our session.
This game only offers non-jackpot prizes. The highest possible payout is just $3,000, which is awarded for hitting five Dangerous Beauty logos on a $3-per-line bet. All other payouts are incredibly low in comparison to other online slots.
What jackpots are available in Dangerous Beauty?
This slot doesn’t offer a jackpot. Its highest payout is 1,000x the line bet, which comes via five game/wild logos. The game logo also pays the next two largest prizes, including 250x (four symbols) and 50x (three). The assassin in her black kimono offers the only other significant payout at 50x for four symbols.
We find it odd that the game’s three biggest prizes are all wrapped up in the Dangerous Beauty icon. Given that the assassin is the main character, it seems like she’d account for one or more of the largest prizes, too.
Additional features and bonus rounds
This slot is average in terms of features, offering “Super Stacks” and free spins. We’re not blown away by the features, but they’re at least adequate.
1. Wild symbol
The Dangerous Beauty logo serves as the wild symbol and substitutes for everything except the jade dragon. It also makes payouts on its own, including 1,000x for five icons, 250x for four, 50x for three, and 10x for two.
2. Super Stacks
This game randomly selects symbols to turn into Super Stacks, which is a full reel of the same icon. Sometimes you receive multiple Super Stacks in one round, while other times you get zero. The hope is that you can land the same symbol in adjacent Super Stacks and collect a large win.
3. Scatter
The jade dragon, which only appears in reels two, three, and four, is a scatter symbol that triggers free spins. This icon doesn’t perform any other function, such as awarding scatter payouts. This is unfortunate considering how many other slots feature scatter prizes.
4. Free spins
You trigger free spins by landing three jade dragon Super Stacks in reels two, three, and four. It might sound hard to fill three reels with stacked symbols. However, we were able to trigger the bonus twice in less than half an hour.
You receive seven free spins, and the reels spin automatically. The bonus is the only point when autoplay is enabled. The background changes to a lovely autumn scene during free spins.
Who is Dangerous Beauty ideal for?
Dangerous Beauty is great for low rollers who appreciate frequent wins. Players can bet as little as one penny ($0.01 line bet/one line) or use all 40 lines for $0.40. The volatility is low thanks to the Super Stacks forming many wins.
This slot won’t appease those who want huge payouts and great features. Dangerous Beauty doesn’t include a jackpot nor large regular prizes. Its features are decent, but they are nothing to get overly excited about.
Other similar games from High 5
Two similar slots from High 5 include Jaguar Princess and Silk and Steel. Jaguar Princess boasts the same type of realistic graphics as Dangerous Beauty. It also features a lovely Amazon woman who has a mystical connection with jaguars and panthers.
Silk and Steel revolves around different types of Asian warriors, including a female lead character. The graphics and setting differ from Dangerous Beauty, but the female warrior element is similar.
What’s Hot?
Good graphics: Most of the symbols feature strong detail, including the assassin, leopard, panther, jade dragon, and wild icon. The only symbols that don’t stand out are the letters and number.
Low bets: This slot offers the chance to play for just one penny in real-money mode. All 40 lines can be played for $0.40 per spin.
High RTP & low volatility: The 96% RTP and low volatility combine to ensure frequent payouts. Many of these wins are formed by Super Stacks.
What’s Not?
No jackpot: Dangerous Beauty is not a game for those seeking huge payouts. Its top prize is 1,000x the line bet, while the second-highest payout is a measly 250x.
Limited gameplay options: The lack of autoplay forces players to manually spin the reels every round. Sound can be turned on/off, but this option is standard in almost every slot.
Generic music: The sound effects during winning combinations are a nice touch. However, a run-of-the-mill tune plays while the reels are spinning.

Final Rating
- Graphics and design – 4/5: Dangerous Beauty’s greatest asset is its graphics. The lead character is presented with excellent detail in three different symbols. The leopard and panther are both well-designed, too. Only the bland A, K, Q, J, and 10 icons bring down the visual aspect.
- Sound effects – 3/5: Aside from the cliché music that plays during spins, this game features a decent audio element. Sword slashes, prowling beasts, or magical sounds can be heard after winning combinations.
- Jackpot value – 1/5: Top slots prizes don’t get much smaller than the one in Dangerous Beauty – 1,000x the line bet is the largest-available payout. The next-highest wins are just 250x and 100x, respectively. This is not surprising as low-volatility slots typically don’t offer big payouts.
- Replay value – 4/5: This slot offers plenty of replay value thanks to its quality graphics, low volatility, and mysterious theme. Dangerous Beauty lives up to its name by featuring an alluring woman who’s lethal to her enemies. The only aspects holding this game back include a small top payout and few options.
Dangerous Beauty Full Movie
If you’re getting bored playing the same old online slot games over and over again, it might be time to take the plunge and try something different. Dangerous Beauty by High 5 Games offers gamers bold graphics, stacked symbols, nonstop action centered around three sword wielding female warriors, and the opportunity to win huge payouts.

Dangerous Beauty Basics
Dangerous Beauty is a visually appealing online video slot consisting of five reels, four rows, and 40 adjustable paylines. It can be played on your computer or at mobile casinos in Michigan. Casinos with the Dangerous Beauty slot game include BetMGM in Michigan, BetRivers Casino and of course, Golden Nugget Online Casino.
The main character is a beautiful black-haired kimono-clad maiden who learned how to defend herself with a sword at an early age. But now her village is under siege, so she needs all the help she can get. She wants you to join forces with her other recruits to protect her homeland from marauders.
Dangerous Beauty online slot presumably got its inspiration from Asian Samurai martial arts films. The predominant colors you’ll see on the reels are green, purple, and dark blue. Pagoda rooftops in the distance at the top of the screen and lush greenery at the bottom of the screen complete the picture.
No progressive jackpot, but you can still win big
Unfortunately, the Dangerous Beauty slot machine has a mediocre return to player (RTP), and the game does not offer a progressive jackpot. But, thanks to a wild symbol and frequently appearing stackedsymbols, big wins are possible. If you’re really lucky, you’ll trigger the Free Games bonus round where you will be awarded seven freespins. Large wins are accompanied by green or yellow lights encircling the winning symbol and cascades of falling coins. It’s a nice added touch.
Dangerous Beauty slots bet range
Playing Dangerous Beauty for real money offers a wide range of bet sizes, so it can be easily adapted to suit the bankroll and playing style of virtually anyone.
For starters, you are not compelled to play with all 40 paylines activated if you prefer fewer paylines.
However, keep in mind that as you reduce the number of paylines, the number of ways to win goes down while the volatility of the game goes up. Therefore, a better way to lower the cost of playing, if that is your intention, is to keep all 40 paylines active and simply select a lower coin size or line bet.
The minimum coin size is 1 cent while the maximum is $10. Since the cost of each bet is the coin size multiplied by the number of paylines, if you keep all 40 paylines in play, the minimum bet is a very affordable 40 cents and the maximum is a very steep $400.
Dangerous Beauty RTP and Volatility
Your likelihood of having a winning outcome on this slot or any slot depends partly on luck and partly on not overbetting your bankroll. But it is also affected by the game’s RTP and volatility.
RTP
The RTP is defined as the percentage of your starting bankroll that you can reasonably expect to have returned to you in winnings after a great many playing sessions. It is not intended to serve as a predictor of single session results. Single session outcomes can vary markedly from the published RTP in either direction.
Dangerous Beauty has a published RTP of 94.90 percent. While this percentage isn’t bad, it isn’t great either. Compared to other Michigan online slots, it is only about average. A better choice would be a slot with an RTP of 96 percent or higher.
You can still win playing Dangerous Beauty, just as you can still lose playing a higher RTP slot. However, play sensibly and if you’re ahead, don’t keep pressing to the point where you give all of your winnings back and more.
Volatility
The volatility of a slot refers to the probability of huge bankroll swings (either up or down, or most likely, both). Of course, watching your bankroll soar to new heights during a lucky streak is very exhilarating, but during a cold streak, the opposite can happen.
Dangerous Beauty is described by the manufacturer as a low volatility slot. However, my play in demo mode suggests that medium volatility is more accurate. In either case, the game’s average RTP will limit what you can expect to win, so the best way to avoid putting your bankroll in danger is to play within your means.
Dangerous Beauty Symbols
The symbols in Dangerous Beauty include 10 regular symbols, a wild symbol, and a scatter symbol. Winning combinations are formed in the usual manner from left to right with like symbols lining up consecutively on adjacent reels.
Regular symbols
- The three highest valued regular symbols are the three female warriors.
- The one that pays the most is the woman with black hair, wearing a black kimono, with a sword held high.
- The second highest paying regular symbol is a woman in a red kimono, holding a sword in one hand.
- The third highest paying symbol is a woman with white hair, holding a sword behind her head.
- A leopard and black panther are next and equal in value.
- The five lower paying regular symbols are the playing cards 10-A.
Wild symbol
The wild symbol is the Dangerous Beauty logo. As the game’s highest paying symbol, five across a payline return an impressive 10,000 coins (or 40,000 coins if the whole screen turns wild!) The wild symbol also substitutes for all other symbols, except the scatter symbol.
Scatter symbol
The scatter symbol is a green dragon. It appears in the main game only and only on reels 2, 3, and 4.
If and only if the scatter symbol completely fills all three middle reels simultaneously, you will trigger the potentially highly lucrative Free Games bonus round.
Dangerous Beauty Paytable
The following paytable lists the payouts for 5, 4, and 3 of a kind and, where applicable, for 2 of a kind for all of the symbols except the scatter symbol.
No. of Coins Paid Out for Different Winning Combinations

Dangerous Beauty Special Features
Dangerous Beauty offers two special features. Stacked symbols and free games.
Stacked symbols
Stacked symbols occur frequently in this game. In fact, both during the main game and free spins, super stacks that cover adjacent reels are capable of producing enormous payouts. However, because the stacks are vertical (rather than horizontal), some stacked symbols pay nothing.
Free Games
Upon triggering the Free Games bonus round, the reels turn light red and sunlight appears at the top of the screen. During each of the seven free spins, one symbol is randomly chosen to appear stacked. Playing in demo mode, I got a big win when the top paying female warrior was stacked. But an even better scenario would be to have the wild symbol stacked!
However, in some ways, the Free Games are a big disappointment. Besides being impossible to retrigger, the feature includes no extra bonuses like extra wild symbols, sticky wilds, or win multipliers.
The Bottom Line
This relatively simple but never dull fantasy themed slot should appeal to a wide range of bettors. Also, despite the scary title and symbols, playing within your means in the confines of your home should pose little danger to your bankroll. And, you might even emerge with big winnings.
